What Our Visitors Think

“Your guides and museum educators are absolutely wonderful. This was our second trip to the park and both years have been great. We’re already booked for our trip for next June.”

- elementary teacher, Richmond

“We loved how each section was taught in a different way so the children could experience hands-on, classroom setting, outside, and interactive. Each section the children were able to experience a unique way of learning that made them stay engaged throughout the whole tour.”

- elementary teacher, Virginia Beach

“Excellent review of Civil War and Reconstruction in preparation for May SOL Virginia Studies test. Best field trip ever. Can’t wait to come back next year!”

- elementary teacher, Chesapeake

“This was my third trip to Pamplin Park as an educator and I have and will continue to recommend this trip to community members and out of town guests.”

- elementary teacher, Dinwiddie

“Our experience at Pamplin Historical Park was a highlight on our Chorus Spring Tour. The staff made every moment at the park educational, memorable and fun for everyone. Thank you for allowing us to share our song, and experience American History in such a beautiful setting.”

- high school teacher, South Carolina

“I wanted to take a moment to thank you for a great visit to Pamplin Park over spring break. I had 90 in my group from Amarillo, Texas. The guides did a fantastic job keeping our kids busy and teaching them about what happened at your park in 1865. I couldn’t be more pleased with the way our group was treated by PP staff. It is my hope every year that when we leave, the kids love PP as much as I do.”
